Data Deletion Instructions

To immediately and permanently erase all meal plans, saved recipes, grocery lists, and calorie/macro settings, simply delete the Food Planner app from your iPhone. To erase technical subscription (Adapty) or analytics records, email us.

Step 1. Delete Individual Recipes, Meal Plans, or Targets in the App

• Imported or custom recipes: Open the Recipes tab, select the recipe you want to remove, and delete it.
• Weekly meal plan & shopping list: Open the Plan or Shopping tab to remove scheduled meals or clear grocery items.
• Body profile & macro targets: Open the Settings tab to edit or reset your calorie, protein, fat, carb, and body measurement values.

Step 2. Erase All On-Device Data Immediately

Because Food Planner stores all meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, and nutrition settings locally in its iOS sandbox container (without cloud accounts or iCloud sync):

1. Touch and hold the Food Planner icon on your iPhone Home Screen.
2. Tap Remove App → Delete App to confirm.
3. iOS immediately and permanently erases the local SwiftData database, cached catalogs, and all saved recipes from your device.

Note: Uninstalling the app does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → [Your Name / Apple ID] → Subscriptions.

Step 3. Request Deletion of Technical Subscription or Analytics Records

If you would like us to delete your anonymous subscription profile in Adapty or de-identified analytics records in Firebase, send an email to [PLACEHOLDER: SUPPORT_AND_PRIVACY_EMAIL] with the subject line "Food Planner Data Deletion Request".

Because Food Planner does not collect your name or email inside the app, please include your approximate purchase date or your Apple receipt Order ID so we can locate and purge the corresponding anonymous subscription record. We process all verified deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws.
