We're here to help with Instagram Reel recipe imports, calorie and macro calculations, Pro subscriptions, and managing your data on iPhone.
How do I restore my Pro subscription or Lifetime purchase on a new iPhone?
Open Food Planner and tap 'Restore Purchases' on the subscription screen, or go to the 'Settings' tab β 'Subscription' β 'Restore Purchases'. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription or 14-day free trial?
All subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open 'Settings' β tap your name (Apple ID) at the top β tap 'Subscriptions' β select 'Food Planner' and tap 'Cancel Subscription' at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
How do I request a refund for an App Store charge?
Because Apple processes all App Store billing, refund requests must be submitted through Apple's official portal at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID, choose 'Request a refund', and select your Food Planner purchase.
Why did an Instagram Reel import fail or miss ingredients?
Make sure the Instagram Reel or post is public and includes the recipe ingredients or instructions in the post caption. If the creator placed the recipe in a pinned comment or private account, copy the text and use the 'Paste Recipe Text' option inside the Recipes tab.
What happens if an imported recipe has an ingredient not in the catalog?
On the Imported Recipe Review screen, you can assign or edit any unresolved ingredient before saving. The app also queues the missing ingredient name so our team can verify its nutritional data and include it in future catalog updates.
How do I delete my meal plans, recipes, and personal data?
Your meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, and nutrition targets are stored locally on your iPhone. You can delete individual items in the app or erase all local data immediately by uninstalling Food Planner. Full instructions are available at /en/delete-data.
